Every young person arriving at Werrington is asked to complete a self disclosure on the NOMS disability questionnaire. Any young person disclosing a learning difficulty has this recorded on PNOMIS. During induction every young person is tested for a learning difficulty and those identified as a severe case are referred to the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding and Health) meeting and if necessary a personal care plan is agreed.  Staff writing conduct reports for young people use this information to inform other departments. Governors carrying out adjudications use this information during hearings.
